Sycuan’s 28th Charity Golf Tournament was held on September 6 at the Sycuan Golf Resort. Four charities each received $25,000 for a total of $100,000.
“We are very happy to support the local community and raise over $100,000 for four great charities,” said Cody Martinez, Chairman of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. “The donations go a long way for these organizations and is another step in the Kumeyaay spirit of giving.”
The recipients were Boys & Girls Club of Kumeyaay Nation Wellness, Kumeyaay Heritage Preservation Conservancy, Project Rebound and San Diego 350 Climate Change Action.
