American Red Cross Disaster Relief Trailer May 4, 2022 Table of Contents On Wednesday, May 4, the American Red Cross placed a Disaster Relief Trailer on the Sycuan Tribal Reservation. This new trailer will provide essential supplies during emergency situations in the surrounding community and for Sycuan’s use during shelter-in-place incidents. “The American Red Cross is grateful for the partnership we have with the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation,” said Sean Mahoney, Regional CEO of the Red Cross Southern California Region. “Staging this Shelter Trailer at Sycuan will help us provide urgent disaster relief in southeast San Diego County. We appreciate the advance planning and preparedness of the Tribal Council and Sycuan staff.” The supplies contained inside the trailer include 100 Cots, 2 ADA cots, 100 Blankets, 80 Comfort Kits, 10×3 ARC Shelter Banner, 250 Banquet Pack, 2 Privacy screens, 30 Youth Comfort Kits, 1 large Food Cambro, Feeding Kit, Nurse’s Kit, serving gloves, trash bags, cups, paper plates, signage kit and more.
